Assoluti d’Italia class win for Soreca

The second round of the Italian National Enduro Championship took place in Caltanissetta Sicily on 27/28 April with two days of racing anticipated by a Friday night Super Test. The Cross Test kicked off the race and then made the way for the Enduro Test and the Extreme Test, which decided the overall winners.

Davide Sirica of the Kawasaki Motors Italy supported MGR Racing Team used all his talent and potential to win Saturday's day and placing second on Sunday in the 250 4t class on his KX250-X.

On Saturday the Italian started right away on the pace thanks to an excellent feeling with the bike leading to the first victory of the season. On Sunday one inaccuracy too many did not allow Davide to repeat this feat. However, the second position achieved by the Ligurian keeps the Championship wide open.

Davide Soreca: “I'm really happy about my race weekend; It's my first success in the 250 4t class and winning a day with a completely brand new bike that we are developing is a great satisfaction. On Sunday I made some mistakes but I'm still happy because I managed to finish some special tests in the top 10.  Now I keep my head down and keep working!”
